
Mayang Anchalik College Library was started in 1993 in the next year of establishment of the College. In the beginning it has a few books. Gradually, numbers of collection as well as services have been improved. Students, faculty and office staff has membership in the college library. In the year 2013 the Mayang Anchalik College Library renamed “DIPAN CHANDRA NATH CENTRAL LIBRARY” name after the late Dipan Chandra Nath, the founder secretary of the managing committee of the college. The objectives of the college library are to ensure easy access to its resources. In order to cope up with the challenges of present day’s new procedures and technology has been deployed. To promote reading habits among the users the library committee has introducer the “Best Library User” prize which are distributed on the college foundation day. The library has over 15,000 books, magazines, journals, news paper and E-collection etc. The Library also used KOHA software and D-Spaces in library management and provide e-resources to users. The library has 24x7 online library system of information service available in Web-Based Online Public Access Catalogue (WEBOPAC) link-http://mac-opac.b2h2.co.in. The ultimate goal of this Web-Based Online Public Access Catalogue (WEBOPAC) is to enable patrons to browse library online beyond the physical boundary of the college. Library has membership of N-List of INFLIBNET. Considering the fact that majority of the users belong to economically poor families the library takes extra care of them. The library also takes feedback from its users.

- To maintain universal and democratic ethos of library.
